Announcement of the Outstanding
Young Alumnus Award.
Spire Managing Principal, Anthony Gonzales, was presented the 2018 Outstanding Young Alumnus Award by the University of Texas at Austin’s Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering. Each year, the award honors one alumnus who has distinguished him/herself with outstanding service and contributions to the engineering profession and society. The award was announced at the Department’s Academy of Distinguished Alumni Induction Ceremony on September 28, 2018.
In addition to being the Founder and Managing Principal at Spire, Mr. Gonzales shares his in-depth industry knowledge with students, and lectures on Project Controls at his alma mater.
The Academy of Distinguished Alumni in the Department of Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering was established in 2003 to recognize the professional achievements and contributions of its graduates. Academy members are leaders within their professional communities and serve as role models for the Department’s students.
