Associate Principal

Mr. Roger Nelson, PE, PSP, LEED AP, has over 15 years of experience in the AEC industry. He has worked in the field alongside architects, subcontractors, and engineers and provides services on construction-related disputes for complex projects.

Mr. Roger Nelson is an Associate Principal with more than 15 years of successful experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry advising clients in public and private sectors. He has worked in the field alongside architects, contractors, and engineers through all phases of the construction process. Mr. Nelson specializes in resolving construction-related disputes for complex projects including government facilities, infrastructure and light-rail, electrical and gas transmission, subway expansions, high-rise office buildings, and multi-family residential buildings. Mr. Nelson delivers construction and program management services by performing contract risk analysis, changed work analysis, schedule oversight, and cost management throughout the lifecycle of a project. He also provides forensic services by analyzing, developing, and preparing claim evaluations, and supports clients in mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Roger Nelson is a certified Professional Engineer (PE) registered in California, a LEED Accredited Professional (AP) with the U.S. Green Building Council, and a certified Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) with AACE International. A PSP is a skilled planning and scheduling professional with advanced experience in project planning, and developing, monitoring, updating, forecasting and analyzing integrated project schedules. Mr. Nelson currently holds the Vice Chair position for the AACE Construction Dispute Resolution Subcommittee, and is Program Chair for the Western Winter Workshop. He is the Former Director of Region 6 AACE International (AACE), and Former President and Vice President of  the AACE San Francisco Bay Area Section.
